Privacy and Personal Data
Avocrate processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable UAE data protection law. Information may be processed to create accounts, complete bookings, communicate with Organisers, provide support, prevent fraud, process payments, and comply with legal obligations.
By creating an account or making a booking, you acknowledge and consent that Avocrate will share your personal data with the Organiser hosting the relevant event, including your name, contact details, booking details and any information you provide for the event, so that the Organiser can deliver and manage the event and communicate with you about it.
Avocrate will also share personal data with its service providers, including payment processors, hosting and IT providers, communications providers and customer support providers, to the extent necessary for them to provide services to Avocrate. These service providers will process personal data only on Avocrate’s instructions and subject to confidentiality and data protection obligations.
Avocrate will share only the personal data reasonably necessary for these purposes and will not sell your personal data. Avocrate may also disclose personal data to competent governmental, regulatory or judicial authorities where required by law.
Each Organiser processes personal data it receives through the Platform as an independent controller and is responsible for its own compliance with applicable data protection law. Except to the extent required by applicable law, Avocrate is not responsible for an Organiser’s processing of personal data after it has been shared with that Organiser.
Users should review the Avocrate Privacy Policy for information about processing, retention, and applicable rights, including the right to withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent to the sharing described in this section may mean that Avocrate is unable to complete a booking.
